Nodepod is source-available under the MIT License with the Commons Clause. It should not be described as open source under the Open Source Definition.
Can I inspect and modify the code?
Section titled “Can I inspect and modify the code?”The source repository is public, and the license grants broad rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, and distribute, subject to its terms and the Commons Clause restriction.
What does the Commons Clause change?
Section titled “What does the Commons Clause change?”It restricts selling the software. Whether a particular product or service falls within that restriction depends on the facts. This documentation cannot answer licensing questions for your business.
Can I use Nodepod in a commercial product?
